Our Conscious Living: Saving on Vacation

We splurged on a vacation this past month, going on a cruise with Suja’s mom.  While the cruise cost some cash, we saved and didn’t spend more in some ways.  We stayed with a friend in the city out of which the cruise left, we didn’t eat in the ports (only in the already paid for ship), and we went on only one inexpensive shore excursion.  When people discussed all they had done in the ports, it was a little awkward to tell them what we had done, which was not glamorous.  However, we are lucky to have been able to cruise, and it’s nice to save some for others.
